Hey I don’t know much it’s never happened for me but I’ve heard a hunny method but I also remcomend searching up the “neosporn” meathod before the tail rots.

Hi there, if he's housed with another dragon be sure to separate them ASAP or it will continue. For now it's not serious and should most likely heal pretty easily. You can soak it in a mixture of watered down betadine [ from drug store ] This can be done by just putting some in a glass or cup and letting his tail hang down in it. If he won't sit still for long enough then just soak him in about 1" deep , be sure the water is warm. You can apply neeosporin after as the other poster mentioned but use the non pain relief kind.

Hi, he’s housed alone, i think that he scratched it on something, i already soaked his tail in betadine, ill see if it improves, if not i’m gonna take him to a vet.

It'll probably take a few days or week of soaking, it won't heal overnight but it should be fine. :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
