bathing my beardie

hi just got a beardie last wknd.have read about a lot of people bathing theirs so gonna give it a go tonite. what temp should the water be?how long will i leave him in and how high should the water be. hes about 8 mnths.. thanks

water should be warm but not hot. test it with your wrist to see the temp.
water up to their front shoulders, head not in water.
put a washcloth on the bottom of the bath or bowl you are using so he can grip onto it.
for about 15 minutes.
it takes a while for them to get used to it but its very beneficial for them so just keep him in there if he seems unhappy. its perfectly safe for them.

also, make sure to dry him completely when done. and never leave him unattended. he will probably be scared and I let mine hold onto my hand to feel secure
