I just moved my beardie into a 40 gallon tank. He ate the first day about 6 or 7 small crickets. Since then he has barely moved or eaten. What do I do to make sure he's okay?

Have you updated the lighting for the 40g tank? What are the temps and how far is your UVB light above the basking site? Can you post some photos of him and his new setup?

Hello,

Changing him back & forth will stress him further.
It usually takes a week or two for them to settle into a new home so once you change him
to a new tank, it's best to leave them in their new surroundings so that they will get used to
it. :D
How old is your new little one?

I moved him back to his old tank for now should that help?

No , leave him in the new one.

I find it helps lots if you keep the same furniture and same tank arrange , lizards like routine and don't like change, so this approach keeps things as familiar as possible for them.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
