I thought I had got all of his up and threw a few crickets in there apparently he thought his poop was a cricket and accidentally bit into it but he spat it out :puke: he should be fine right??

UGh. Buttercup seems to poop lately in the middle of feeding her  I'm pretty sure she does things like that just to spite me.

Jin's light comes on at sunrise. He comes out and warms up on his limb for about 2 hours. Then I serve his salad. He usually eats about 3/4 of the bowl then poops. I clean the poop up then refill the bowl. If it is a cricket day I usually give them about an hour after the salad.

If I put both salad and crickets in at same time he goes for the salad first but doesn't hesitate to get any crickets that wander within reach of the salad.

them being exposed to the poop increases their chances of getting coccidia.

always clean out the poop before feedings. bathing them if they haven't gone yet will get them used to going in their bath, making clean up a little easier. plus they tend to get used to going in the water and will start to hold it until they get their bath. No more stinky cages.

If you don't have it yet, i would suggest buying Reptaid. acidophiliz+ is also good to have on hand.
