Adventures with Doodles....New Pics of the Crew!

Doodles went for a romp around the living room today, I snapped a few pictures while Lydia wasn't trying to get in my way. Such spoiled & silly babies....

It's sooo funny that you say that, because I originally named Doodles 'Ziggy!' hahaha :lol:
I do like Squiggles though, it kinda matches with Doodles :mrgreen:

LOL right now a baby would also keep me BROKE for a few months, haha. I'm really trying to be good and wait till after the holidays to get a new baby, I want to find a nice old cabinet that I can convert into stacked homes for Doodles +1. :mrgreen:

Lol but the babies are precious! How could you resist a little face? My boyfriend has to drag me out of stores when I see them hahaha The last time I was at petsmart a little guy was in the window and I put my finger by him and he put his hand up to my finger... I fell in love. I had to be dragged out haha

I can't even walk by the reptile tanks when I go to petsmart anymore, between the baby beardies & the juvie veiled chameleons. It's just wayyy too tempting, & I just know I can't afford a baby's appetite just yet... :mrgreen:

So, Doodles has got this weird semi-brumation thing going on right now...she slept for three days straight but for the past 2 days she's been hangin' out on the warm side of her tank just looking grumpy. She even ate a few worms yesterday, so I guess I'm glad she didn't go right off to sleep. Anyways, new pictures of Doodles!

Doodles slept like this for a whole day. Then I got her cave all fixed up

I bought shelf liner for Doodles' tank, because I think it'll be easier to clean than the carpet...There was just enough left to cover Doodles' hide, and Lydia was trying to "help" me cover it :lol:

Of course I just had to get the MOST GIRLY shelf liner at the store...I'm planning something big for Doodles after the holidays, so I figured I'd just have fun with her enclosure for now. Soon she'll have a new background, too

Doodles did NOT want to take a bath yesterday, she was clawing up my arm whenever she touched the water

They do look so similar!! Tazz's face appears to be a bit darker orange than Doodles', but if I didn't know any better I'd swear they were siblings. I guess we are both lucky to have such beautiful little ladies

I just thought maybe Doodles was starting a shed. But if her head is always that light then I guess her and Tazz aren't long lost twins. :lol: LOL. But they do look extremely similar, they even both have the little white markings around their eyes. It makes them look like they have eyelashes.

When she was a baby her head was much darker & more orange, but as she's grown it just gets lighter & lighter with every shed, it's very interesting...I guess she was darker orange overall as a baby, she's gone from BRIGHT orange to her lovely creamsicle color that she has now...she's kind of the opposite of most beardies, she gets paler with sheds instead of more intense :laughing6:

Oh my gosh! We have the smae background! High five for static cling! Yay! I had to add so decals to the inside of Myah's viv though. She can still see her reflection and will attack herself while trying to eat. It's been over a year of this and I just got fed up with my baby being so angry. Wish me luck as I really hope it works!

Hooray for matching backgrounds! Doodles isn't too interested in her own reflection (unless it's in an actual mirror, then she freaks out thinking it's another beardie). She does, however, LOVE to try and jump onto the logs pictured in the background, LMAO. :laughing6:
