Acurite thermometer?

Hi everyone...where do you find the Acurite thermometers that everyone has for their enclosures? The one with the dual probes. Wasn't sure on where I could get one and who has a decent price on them.

got mine at lowes, but have seen them at walmart for about $11-$15

Also I read another post yesterday about an Infrared Temp Gun that is on sale at Harbor Freight for $7.99.

Thanks! Yeah I saw that post also and went and picked one up yesterday at harbor freight! Works pretty good! I just wanted the thermometer with the probes also...wanted the temp gun as a backup to double check the temps.

OK...went to Home Depot today and found the acurite thermometers but none with 2 probes. Do you have to buy the additional probe separate or is there a model that comes with two?

can anyone help? I can only find models with one probe but would like two.

I don't believe there is a model with 2 probes (If anyone knows better, feel free to correct me!). You only need the surface temp on the hot side, you put the box on the cool side and it measures the air temp, which is what you're looking for.

What I use is from Walmart and it's accurite but it's wireless. It shows you the temp on both sides. It's white.

awesome...thanks...I thought there were two probes but that makes sense that the box measures the temps of where it is located and the probe measures the surface temp of the hot side. Thanks for the info!
