I need to upgrade my bulb from a 36" to a 48" and i cant find any fixtures of that length for that type of bulb. Does anyone know of any places i can get one from or any other way of doing this?

Walmart, their shop lights fit them and hold two bulbs so I put the reptisun 10.0 in front and a normal light behind it. The fixture itself cost $10.00.

I checked both places and cant find one at either. In walmart is the fixture your speaking of in a different section than all the normal bulb fixtures?

I just had this problem this weekend! I ordered our 48" repti sun 10.0 from amazon, and got the fixture from lowes for $21-$22. I went to the store so I know onlinw i couldnt fine the exact one I wanted. I just got a t-8 one light strip light fixture. It was with all the fleuorescent fixtures, not bulbs. I had to ask where it was, HTH

i must have the worst home depot and lowes conveinently located near my house because i checked everywhere and couldnt find any. all i found was fixtures that were meant for t12, t10, and all that. the t8s i did find were too small :banghead:

I'm sorry, I live out i the boonies too, but my store had a number of them. Did you ask someone? Thats what I had to do. If you must they do have them online

Umm, in the Walmarts around here the shop lights are on the bottom shelf under the florescent tube lights. And I have no idea if it's a t12 or a t8 but I do know it fits the fixture.

From my understanding the older ones are t12, and newer ones are t8. But unless you see the package or it says online I dont think youll know which one youre getting. Mine that I just got last weekend from amazon is a t8
it is also 32 watts

Another option is if you have a t12 fixture laying around thats 48". You can just replace the ballast in it with a t8 48". The t8 t10 t12 bulb mounts are all the same. And possibly even t5 but I'm not 100% on that one. ~Mike~

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
