    Lighting

What do you mean by red spotlight? Do you have a normal basking spotlight somewhere else? And is the red spotlight what you normally keep on during the night or something? Or for extra heat? If so instead you could always instead try putting a normal lightbulb in there(assuming it gets...

    On The Menu

I left my a few dubia roaches and a bowl full of Escarole and Butternut Squash. Mine loves Mustard Greens too! But unfortunately the grocery stores around here rarely have it.

    Nature Zone Bearded Dragon Bites

I think the iguana ones are the same thing, just a different color/scent. So I'm sure you could try those.

    Hornworms got huge

I'm kinda wondering the same thing, I had bought hornworms when my beardie was younger and been thinking about getting some more. He's a year and a half now and about 17inches long. Think he'll be fine with full grown hornworms?

    The Cage is a Mess

Mine does something like that when he's shedding, and other times randomly. I'll get home from work and his food dishes are flipped upside down, veggies all over, bark from his logs all over. His hammocks knocked over etc. I got curious what he could be doing and I set up a Raspberry Pi...

    What about calcium spray?

I'm curious about that as well. Now that my beardie eats mostly veggies I figure it would be easier to spray his veggies and get it to stick, then it would for the powder.

Feeding size dubias, what to do with adult males?

I"ve been wondering the same thing myself. I"ve been ordering dubias but I've got a couple that by chance never got fed and look fully grown. I think their bigger then the space between my beardies eyes, but I hear of people feeding adult dubias so wasn't sure if it was safe. My beardie is...

    sooooo... potty training beardie?

Mine always goes in the same area. Everytime time it's right next to his basking log. Which makes cleaning easy. I use reptile carpet and I have a square cut out for that area. So i just take it out and replace it with a clean one.

Why is my beardie trying to jump out of his tank?

for a checklist you should use the caresheet on this site. I think there's a link to it on the main page. It has a lot of great info about their setup, lighting heat etc. Sounds like the jumping on the glass isn't to big of a deal, just him either wanting out or attention or just having fun...

Why is my beardie trying to jump out of his tank?

I forget when mine started shedding. But I don't think it was too long after I got him. But if that was his issue you wold already notice the shed. He could just be having fun running around, or like someone else said he may just want to come out and play lol. Make sure there is nothing in...

Why is my beardie trying to jump out of his tank?

Mine does that when he's shedding. He runs around like crazy when he's shedding and he'll jump off his basking platform and jump at the glass doors in the front, as if he's trying to jump out.

    Mirror Mirror on the wall...

Mine stopped reacting to his own reflection when he was a couple months old. When I first got him I didn't have a backgound on his tank so he would just stare at his reflection. But that was when he was only a couple months old. Now though he doesn't react at all. He may look at himself in...

2 month old Bearded Dragon stopped eating.

Have you tried feeding different things? Maybe he just doesn't like roaches? Like maybe try crickets since their usually easy enough to get.

    New dragon

Mine never liked being in a feeding tank and was always uncomfortable so I just fed him in his tank. And ya, definitely take out what he doesn't eat. Usually if he ignored them when the hopped by him I would take them out. Does he also eat the pellets? If not, 6 crickets seems way to few...

Always 'hungry'; eating to the point of purging

If he is regurgitating it could be a different reason. But as for the amount idk, 20 a day seems too few. At 9 months mine was eating 50-60 dubia roaches in a day. Could the crickets your feeding him be too big? Also, maybe he just isn't digesting properly because of something wrong with...

    odd "gulping" behavior

idk about the "gulping" but mine puffs out his neck like that all the time. Usually in the morning. He'll just sit there basking and puff out his next a few times, but never black. I read somewhere that it's a common thing they do in the morning. Some people think they are just stretching.

    Other people's reactions?

So far most people think mine, Norbert, is really cool. Especially when I let him run around, apparently he looks funny when he runs. My mom thinks he's interesting but is very cautious and refuses to hold him. My grandmother is scared, I think she had a bad experience with snakes and thinks...

    Grub worms?

I don't think i've heard of anyone feeding grubs, or referring to them as grubs maybe. Could you be thinking of something else maybe? Like black soldier fly larvae, reptiworms/phoenix worms.

How to chop up/serve collard/mustard greens easily?

I just tear mine as well. But i'm thinking of picking up a 1 1/2 cup food processor from walmart today to give that a try. They have some for like 10 bucks so I figure it's worth trying.

    tail up

Mine does that too, not as extreme though. But a good portion of his tail points straight up when I let him out of his tank and let him explore and run around.
