I am looking for other butterworm sources besides Mullberry Farms. Since we are coming into summer shipping across country is too risky for feed animals. So I would like some eastern US alternitaves. Just Butterworms that is all he wants now.

    Silkworms

It does depend on the dragon. Mine eats 5 to 7 at one time they are the med size silks. He is 13 inches long and 14 weeks old. He never saw a worm before we got him from the breeder. I tried him on phoenix but they were too small for him when he was 10inches long. But he loves the larger...

    Worms???

Do not feed lettuce to your dragon. It is just water and fiber no nutruition. Feed collards, mustard and turnip greens. Can be found in salad area of store or frozen section. Butternut squash is loved also.

    Ceramic heat emitter size

Ceramic heater are not needed as they are only used a night. Since night temps can be as low as 60 we do not use heaters at night. Basking heat you want as light since it is used durning the day. UVB helps dragon absorb calcium so is also needed. Undertank heater is Not needed. So you only...

Bearded Dragon won't eat live crickets

If you got him 2 days ago he is still settling in and will not eat much. Get crickets out of his cage. Never leave them in overnight. many feed their dragon in a seprate container so all they have to do is remove the dragon not the crickets. How old is dragon? What is your setup for him...

I would report the petstore. They might clean up there act after being inspected. Not all Petco are the same and you can report them to headquarters. I worked at one that was great on the care of their animals. Petco does care and will check into it trust me. When I worked for them as a...

New to the scene and have some questions

Couple of site to try where breeders are listed. Kingsnake.com and Faunaclassifieds.com. Many top breeders listed at both places. Fauna also has a forum which has a good/bad listing. So you can check out breeders before buying. Good Luck on your search.

Fat or perfect?? and not eating after relocation

It sounds like location stress. I would not feed hime live for a bit. And maybe try some tough love on those greens. Get him off the lettuce. He will be OK if he does not eat for a bit. A couple of days not eating will not hurt him at all. You might try not feeding for a whole day or two...
