Beardie Poop

I have seen people use sand (wish not to debate the use of it) and had a question. I have leopard geckos and am able to scoop their poop since it generally comes out in one solid piece.
I have never owned a dragon.. Does it work the same way or do they acutually pee seperately as well as poo?
If using sand with an adult, would it be possible to scoop as well?

Yes they can pee seprate. Mine has done it several times.
