    arcadia 10.0 compact lamp

If your in the UK the best UVB source is the Arcadia 12% TUBE. The fluorescent tubes are advised over the compact tubes for beardies. The Reptiglo 10.0 is no good

BIIIGGG CAGE FOR SIMBA! (and perhaps a friend?)

unless you want LOADS of little beardies running around i wouldn't house your male and female together. It can only take a few seconds for the deed to be done

    new owner

As you only got her yesterday i would give her time to settle in. She is probably just stressed from the move. Also what type of UVB are you using as these can affect behaviour. And welcome to the site :blob8: :blob8:

2 baby dragons, and not everything sorted!

I would turn the reptiglo off now, that light will do more harm then good. They will be fine for a couple of days without UVB. If your in the states you will want to get a reptiSUN 10.0 TUBE or in the UK the best one is the Arcadia 12% TUBE. But bear in mind that you will need to get a starter...

Spike has had a missing front arm, he doesn't seem to be gro

Yes the best UVB light you can get in the states is a reptisun 10.0 TUBE. The coil bulbs are no good for basking lizards. Well best thing is to phone up vets near you and see if they have a veterinarian who is qualified in reptiles.

    My new UNNAMED bearded dragons!

fill the bath with warm water (sort of temperature you would do for a baby) up to their armpits. Good idea to put a old flannel in so they can grip it. They get all their water mainly from their food. I only give baths every so often when one decides to do a bit of poo skating around the viv!

    Home made basking structure

Looks good! (alot better then mine! :( ) I'm having trouble tho trying to find a sealer as i'm just about to put my last coat of grout on. Im in the UK and not seen modge podge any where. Any one got any ideas what kind of sealer to use that you can get from places like b&q?!

Spike has had a missing front arm, he doesn't seem to be gro

Also don't feed mealworms to beardies, the mealworms have a hard outer shell which can cause impaction. What brand UVB are you using? You need to AT LEAST seperate the injured beardie and seek medical advise as a vet should be able to give you suitable antibiotics if the arm is infected

    Questions for buying a viv

Personally i wouldn't buy that. You find alot with those "complete set-ups" that most of the stuff you don't need or is wrong. The UVB bulb is only 5% output, you really need the reptisun 10.0 TUBE. Also some of the equipment you have now you will be able to use on the new viv like...

Setup going to be ok or?

The coil bulbs are not good at all for basking lizards. As said above you will see a big improvement if you get a reptiSUN 10.0 TUBE (if in USA) or the Arcadia 12% TUBE (If in the UK) You really need to get a digital thermometer with a probe to get a accurate reading. Those stick on...
