    Buddy says "HI"

I'll start getting back on track in about 4 weeks. My Spring semester at WIU will end. I am currently working full time and going to school to work on a second Master's degree in Geography. My specialization is Geographic Information Science. It is really challenging and really busy. My...

    Buddy says "HI"

This is Tatty. I just adopted a new beardie at 3:30 p.m. yesterday. His name is Buddy. Well, I like that better than Mr. Bosley. Anyhow, Buddy's owner could no longer keep him due to foreclosure. I adopted him, as no one else in this persons family wanted to keep him. He joins my beardie...

Wow Sandy: That sounds great!! I am glad the dragon princess was such a hit. I also adopted back another one of my beardies. Her name was Toji and the family I gave her to grew bored with her. She is beautiful and a little orange sweetheart. I named her "Sunflower". Janice E

Hi Sandy: This is Tatty aka. Janice from Canton, Illinois. I have to try to get on this thread more often. We got 18.5 inches of snow here in Canton, and the temps are below zero. I am still taking classes and should graduate with a M.A. degree in GIS (Geography) this coming december. I am...

    Petting and Holding

My beardies love to be snuggled and have their cheeks rubbed. Sunflower will actually climb up higher on you and get in your face if you stop rubbing her cheeks. They truly enjoy people and will closed their eyes like cats for their sessions.

    Beardies and Cancer

Thanks Everyone! I am feeling better but last week was depressing. I still have my precious Rudy, Spike, Cooper, and Tatty. Popcorn was my "special girl" and my "big girl" , however. She met a lot of people at reptile shows and show and tells and helped a lot of people to overcome their...

On a happier note, I do have one rescue that I adopted in August named Spike. He is a huge 2 year old male beardie who wasn't socialized. He is now. Tatty :)

Sandy: This is Janice, the lady you got the two beardies from. I'm happy to hear they are doing great. Its been a while. I'm working on a second Master's degree. Unfortunately, I lost Popcorn today who would be the grandmother to the two beardies that you have. She had cancer. I'll have...

    Beardies and Cancer

I just lost my precious girl Popcorn today. She had been diagnosed with cancer. A big tumor growing in her mouth that popped up really quick and really aggressively. We tried a round of medicine from the vet and I was going to take her back this upcoming friday but she expired today. Has a...

    My Beloved Popcorn

I just lost my big girl today. I took her to the vet a week ago and had a follow-up schedule. He suspected that the mass in her mouth was cancer and was going to see if this medicine would shrink it first. It was a large aggressive tumor and would be hard to get rid of. She expired this...

    Welcome Spike

Pictures tomorrow. Spike is snuggled up with Tatty on my lazyboy. He has quit trying to move away from me and avoid touch. I wonder if he was hit at some point in his life. "Tatty"
