Spazz rode 4 days on the dash of a u-haul truck.
We just put her pillow on the dash and the sun warmed her up.
At the truck stops you could always find your truck because of the people looking thru the windshield at her and they always gave us greens from the salid bar for her.
Do not feed them...
If you realy want to mess with them, I use a dog carrier to take Lucky out in and when they say let me see your dog you should see them back up when they see Lucky in there. LOL

If you want to keep it simple, we use ALFALFA pelets from the feed store.
It makes clean up e-z and simple, and alfalfa is a staple.
They also like to dig in it, we keep about 3 inches in the bottum of their vivs.
But the best thing is it's cheap, we pay $15.00 for a 50 lb bag and it last about...
Is it a CFL uv bulb? I've had truoble with them, when they get old they can hurt thier eyes.
If it's a tube you should change it every 3 months.

We have come to find out that we build what we want.
There are all kinds of help here to get you started.
Just do not use pine, ceder woods, low temp pladtics, oil base paints stains or plain chip board.
Be sure to "bake " any wood or rocks you use from you yard/ outside to kill the mold / any...

Some plastics and most partical boards will off gass when heated above 100 deg.
Also so will pine and ceder woods.
This will make you sick as well as your beardie.

Ok lets start with a few things
1 basking temps should be 95 - 110, start at 95 on the first day then 97. not all like the same temps [ my SPAZZ likes 93 but LUCKY like the hot side around 110.
2 lower humidity, do not spray / mist them, they are a desert animel, when you can handle them give...
When we first got Lucky { Lucky to be alive }, I had to used a towel to wrap her in and she was a hand full, watch out for the tail and yes they do bite!
With Spazz we got her when she was 2 inchs, but Lucky was 21 inchs and P O ed as she was raised with 2 kids, a dog and 2 cats in an 18 x 18...
What's his weight?
When Spazz was like that we took her to the vet and he hit the roof, she was 21 inchs long and 680 grams!!
He said she was not lazy but over wieght.
She down to 400 gm and full of it again.

Do not use PINE, any EVERGREEN or ceder woods the sap can kill them and if you put it in their basking spot it's worst for them.
If you can smell it don't trust it!

We use The Weather Channel sun rise / sun set.
In the spring slowly make their days longer, in the fall reduce their day light.
That way they burmate, You should not mess with 2,000,000,000 years of evelution.

When we moved from AZ to Texas we put Spazzes pillow on the dash board of the U-haul and she rode there all day, but she was raised riding on the dash of my car and is used to stupid human tricks.
Just use a cooler to get them in your room at the motel.
When we would stop to eat we would park so...
