Not sure if our little girl Aurora is gonna make it. We got her on November 5th, so we haven't had her that long. When we got her, we checked everything, eyes, vent, and she looked healthy. She hs been active as in chasing her reflection and all. But we had to move her into our bedroom, because her and our male was stressing each other out.
We had been giving her the same diet as our male but less because she hasn't had a big appetite. We would give her 20 reptiworms for her morning and afternoon feedings. For the last feeding of the day, we would try to give her crix. The breeder we got her from said she loved crix, but she didn't seem interested when we give them to her. Today she was doing ok, but this morning she had a runny poo
She had her first feeding this morning and a little after that then she pood (the pic above) At 3:45 I went into give her her after noon feeding and she was playing with her reflection.
Now she is laying in her basking spot with her eyes closed hardly moving.
Someone on here told us that we shouldn't be feeding worms all the time. I thought that was the supers, which we don't do because our beardies aren't even the proper size for them. Aurora, the one we are worried about is 12-13inches. We give both of our beardies the medium reptiworms. I always read on here that those were good to give.
Here's the answers to the questions that I know would be asked.
Name:Aurora
Age 4months
Size: 12-13inches
Tank: 40gal breeder
substrate: non adhesive shelf liner
Uvb: reptisun 10.0
100w heat bulb
digital thermometers on hot and cool sides which also measure humidity.
Since we have had her, she does not go to her dish on her own, not that she is too weak too, but she just stares, but when we bring it over to her, she will eat everything all up.
I can't figure out what we have done wrong, because we are doing the same thing for Aurora as we have been doing for Yoshi, and he is doing good.
Please can someone help me, I don't want to loose our little girl.
