Basking light

I am extremely frustrated with Zoo Med 100 watt basking bulbs. They don’t last as long as any others. The last one ordered lasted 3 days.
Please recommend a basking light for my 40 gallon aquarium

Hiccup he is 6 and Blaze is 4
Please check your dome its in --- it needs to be a wattage of 100 or better - if the wattage is for a 75 or less they will not last -- if its correct wattage check the plug in could be defaulty -- make sure the dome has a ceramic socket as well
