Enclosure with screen top

I've had my beardie for about 5 years now and she has a full screen top and it's always taken a lot of tinkering to get the heat at an acceptable level. I'm not sure if it's the screen top or what but there was a lot of money spent on trying different bulbs along the way.
I've used screen tops and no top at all. I have the basking bulb fixture on an adjustable stand so I can raise and lower it as needed in order to get correct temps.
