Hi,
Sounds like that vet was obnoxious  But it is wonderful you got the Baytril, I guess he was good for something.
The food you got for her is fine, no worries, at this point just getting some food into her is great.
The Baytril is harsh so you will want to give her a little bit of food first so she isn't taking it on an empty tummy. You will want
to keep her very
hydrated while on the Baytril.
Give the probiotic about 4 hours, more or less, after the Baytril dose unless Tracie advises differently.
Either the Avipro or the soy yogurt is good. I'm not familiar with the Avipro so maybe someone can advise on that.
When my beardies were sick, I gave them the soy yogurt for the probiotics but also because it was extra nutrition.
I'm not sure what dioralyte is. Is like Pedialyte in this country, an electrolyte replacement fluid? If it is like Pedialyte
I would dilute it about 1/3 electrolyte fluid to 2/3 water and use that for diluting her food and for
drinking or mixing
anything she needs for now. Others may dilute it differently but that is how I did it when my Beardies were sick.
I don't know how everyone else will feel about the blackurrant dioralyte but my thought is if that's what you have
available, use it. If it is only a flavoring, it won't change the value of the electrolytes in the fluid and that's what your
little one needs.
I'd skip the baths for now, not good for her respiratory status and she is exhausted. She will get
hydration with
the fluid you dilute the baby food with.
That's all I can think of at the moment, I hope it helps!
It is excellent you sleep her on a hot water bottle to keep her warm at night. The name of the game is improvise with what you have!
I'm not sure where in the UK to get a probe thermometer, sorry.
I'm rooting for your little one!
