Zoomed Powersun MVB?

I know there was issues with these a while back i just wanted to know if they have fixed the problems they were causing?

I am not sure, but personally I would not use them for my bearded dragons. however I am looking into using one for my Uromastyx.
It is cheaper to just have a reptisun 10.0 linear and a normal household bulb for a basking light, and would be safer.

Yeah thats what im using a 36" Reptisun 10 tube with 2 household light bulbs mounted on the ceiling of my viv. The Powersun would only be used for when hes outside the cage basking in the living room. Im just using a 90W halogen for that right now.

I use a Powersun 160 watt for my 5 month old and have had no issues. Cheryl @ Rio Reptiles has tested these bulbs herself and have found they give off the correct amount of UVB and also have a wide beam so that reptiles don't need to be directly under the bulb in order to benefit from the UVB.

LOL probably the only one you are going to get because everyone is mind set on here that MVB's are bad. Yes, they did have issues, yes they have been corrected... Are all MVB's good, NO, but personally knowing the person who has tested the Powersun has sold me.... www.beardeddragons.co "making dragons better"

I have in the past used them both the 100 watt and 160 watt versions. The 160 watt I had never had an issue with but, as my dragons got older and needed the cooler temps I switched to reptisun 10.0 linear bulbs, this was for 2 reasons. One being the slight decrease in temperatures I need as they require slightly lower temperatures after ~1 year to 1.5 years old. Two was because I didn't want to replace the bulb every 6 months and pay 45-60$ per bulb (depending on where they were purchased) vs the 22-33$ per Reptisun.

With the 100 watt version, it gave one of my dragons eye issues.
