zilla slimline desert fixture

okay so that is what i have. im not sure if itas good or nit. it has a desert 50 uvb bulb and simce i cant seem to find a reptisun fixture i plan to put a reptisun 10.0 bulb in this fixture. can i do it?

As long as the tubes are the same length and "model" it should work fine. A fluorescent fixture is a fluorescent fixture, you can find them cheap at walmart or buy them for lots of money at a pet store. Either way, it'll do what you want.

also i have 2 48 inch flourescent shop lights that i want to put bulbs in for the 120 when i get it but i think they are different. the fixture is t12 i think and the bulbs are t8.

i also have a wavepoint 36inch t5 fixture for a reef tank. can i use this for uvb?

I would think you could use the coralife as I came accross a 36" T5 10k tube made by the same company so I would think that it is designed to go into that fixture that you have, I have the Zilla T5 desert series 36" and my beardie seems to be fine with and is growing like there is no tomorrow.

I have the zilla also just the 18 inch one. I just ordered the reptilesun 10.0 and am going to stick it in the zilla fixture. I figure it will work just fine.

jeepmiller09 let me know if that works lol. i have the 18 inch one but owhen i get a new tank im trying to figure out what to do for uvb on a 6 foot tank :/ and for the t5 i dont think i can change the bulbs on it but the box says that the glass that covers the bulbs penetrated uvb rays. so im not sure if that means that the bulbs the fixture came with are uvb bulbs for corals??? lol this is quite confusing

Just got my uvb reptisun 10.0 today put it in and wow it makes a ton of diff in lighthing. It fit fine with the zilla fixture. Both are 15w so you are good!

Mine is 18inchs
