My one month old girl has what i believe to be yellow fungus on her mouth and butt. Is there any home remedies that i can use to get her back to 100%. She eats great and runs around happy. Any help would be amazing.

Hello,

Some pictures would be helpful.
For now, you can get some lamisil or monistat cream to apply to the affected areas. You can also get some betadine & dilute that down to give her a bath to initially clean the skin.
Do you have any probiotics you can give to her?
I am glad that she is eating & is very active!

Hello,

That is great you found a vet nearby. Which meds did he give to use for her?
How is she doing today?

looks like yellow fungus to me ( my female beardie is going through it for the second time now)
you'll need to get some antifungal cream and an antibiotic to clear it up.
make sure you get a probiotic as well since its very rough on their tummies, especially in the little ones.

Hello,

Oh my, that is definitely fungal & likely yellow fungus, too.
If you can get lamisil or monistat cream for help with those areas, that would be helpful. Though, for the face area, I recommend using unpasteurized honey, diluted down with warm water to use on that area. Or you can find some silver cream also.
The antifungal cream is chancy using it on or around the face & eye area.
Definitely give some probiotics also to help balance out the system.

I don't know of any pin pointed cause of yellow fungus.

My vet believes my girl Pixel got it from taking an antibiotic when she was young. He thinks it destroyed all the "good stuff" in her which allowed this yeast to take over.

I will tell you if you're given an antibiotic like voriconazole it is very very sad to see them go through it but it DOES help. The first treatment Pixel had almost killed me. It was devastating seeing how uncomfortable she was. But when I noticed the improvements it was the happiest day ever. I could start to see even she was feeling better about half way through the treatment.

That just sounds heartbreaking. She is starting to get more energy to get live food. Cuz for a day there she was not feeling good and didnt care about food.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
