You only need extra night time heat in the tank if the tank temperatures drop below about 65-68* but if it is warmer than that in your room then no, you won't need a CHE.

Alright well, for a fact it gets under 40 where I live in the winter so hopefully a heater can get my room warm, sometimes it can't. :O

don't see why not.

they seem to prefer things that are soft.

just test out the stuffed animals. my male beardie attacked a stuffed manatee i showed him.

Well I already let my Juvenile hang out on a stuffed bear, outside of the viv though, he always liked basking on it in the natural sunlight. Maybe I'll toss it in there when it gets colder as well.
