do you mean why does the beardie hug your thumb when you are holding him/her? I know Dragon hangs on if he doesnt feel safe when I'm holding him- If I am holding him with one hand, or handing him to someone else. It's a security thing.

My beardie used to do that when she was little, but now she just hugs my whole hand when i hold her.

How old? I have 3 beardies. My little guy does that when I hold him. They usually like to "hold on" so they feel safe. It's competely normal.

I think he is around 9 months or older?
