Thought this may be a little fun topic to start as i know that all each the BD's have a favourite food.
My beardy's love there strawberrys

Buddie and Babygirl loves HORNWORMS. Buddie went on a hornworm only bindge for 3days straight and they had to be 3in plus or he wasn't having it. He has been without a hornworm for like 5 days and he still is sad. Babygirl jumps for her hornworms Good news my mom said i can build a greenhouse in the backyard to breed them :mrgreen:

My guy loves supers and silkworms. He ate one hornworm and would ever touch them again! :x I was so mad at him, but they didn't wiggle enough for him I guess! He also loves turnip and mustard greens. If I put in Kale or collard he will eat around them...silly lizard!

Robert goes insane for waxworms. When he sees me reach for the box he starts pacing like a madman. Last time he launched himself out of the tank and onto my shirt.

She is so spoiled. She will not eat them if I just put them in her bowl. I have to hand feed them and she will eat the entire strawberry. Goof. She has me :whip:

Hey Everybody,

Ambush loves dubia's he even recognizes the feeder containers he starts wall dancing until I drop them in. He still won't eat veggies though he's only 17 weeks old so I guess thats normal. Almost forget he did eat 2 small pieces of Bok Choy then he ran away from it lol.

Mine eats almost every veggies... I think it's because I cut all the leafy greens small and grate all the hard veggies like winter squash, parsnips, and turnips, so they get use to eating everything since they were small because they can't pick out their favorites as easily. I think grating the hard veggies gives it a better texture.... They like it better, though! :wink: My spiny tailed iguana go straight for the parsnips for some reason....

It would be easier for me to list the foods Vash DOESN'T like... he definitely loves food, that is for sure. He doesn't like cantaloupe or apples or oranges at all. He completely avoids them if they're in his food dish. I think his favorite fruits are strawberries, blackberries, honeydew, and red raspberries. He also likes kale, mustards, collards, and bok choy, and nature zone bearded dragon bites.

Man Ray is addicted to Hornworms. (Sounds like he's not alone--maybe we should start a Hornworms Anonymous group for our beardies!!) He's also a recovering Mealworm Addict, which is why he doesn't get anymore... Ever... EVER. He once went on a month-long strike for the things. Yuck! He also loves, loves, loves green beans... Who knows why, really, but he'll pick them out of his salad before he starts on anything else. Oh, and he seems to really enjoy collard greens. He'll usually turn his nose up at a salad that doesn't have collards in it.

And nectarines... I got the crazy idea last month to give him a few bits of nectarine. I must've felt bad since the dogs were eating almost as much as I was, but Man Ray wasn't getting any... And he LOVED it. He's gotten nectarine only a few times since, and still just snaps it up the moment it hits the floor. He also enjoys the occasional half of a good green grape. Who can blame him?

All three of them go nuts on the rare occasion I let them "have at" some of the box turtle's nightcrawlers! The girls seem to enjoy dandelion flowers (though I haven't been able to get Man Ray to try them)... And they all love butternut squash (lightly boiled or steamed to soften it), but it has to be chopped on the small side or they won't be able to get a grip and they'll just give up... Poor guys.

Weirdly enough, none of my beardies like Opuntia cactus. Man Ray picks around it, and I've seen Buttercup spit it out with some special kind of disgust. Weird! The tortoise goes nuts for the stuff! lol! And Man Ray doesn't like silkworms... Don't know why, but he'd sooner let them use him as a jungle gym than eat them. He's not big on the butterworms, either. Weird little dragon.

I gave Mongo Phoenix worms for the very first time today and he LOVED them. Ate 20 of them in about 4 seconds.

Mine loves grated winter squash... And it's good for their skin because of the beta-carotene and vitamin A; thus, help them in shedding.
