Where to buy locally water crystals?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I'm wondering if I can get water crystals for my new dubia in stores instead of online. Hardware stores, petshops, bait shops (?), etc. Thanks!

I got mine at a nursery...garden shop. Only place that had the plain type. Type in *Soil Moist* for starters and do a store locator or call a few garden supply stores in your area. The only ones I could find here are called *granuals* and are a lot smaller than the orange gel cricket stuff I bought before

Lol that would make sense, since they use them to keep plant soil moist. I'll do that, didn't even think of it. I did look up Soil Moist (read it in another post, maybe yours!) and the closets store that Google tells me is about 30 minutes from me. I've never used them before. I'm guessing that the roaches eat them and get water that way?

I used soil moist too. But make absolute sure that the crystals you get DO NOT have any kind of pesticides.

Lowes or Home depot usually have it, also try Meijer's
