What type of tiles should I use?

I'm thinking about going with tiles for my bearded dragon's enclosure. Is there a specific kind of tile that is okay for bearded dragons? One that isn't toxic or whatever to them?

A lot of people prefer slate because it keeps the beardie's nails trim so you don't have to cut them all the time. I use porcelain and it works fine, but will be switching to slate with the new cage.

FWIW, I never noticed a difference in nail wear when I had slate tiles. I've since switched to non-adhesive shelf liner for ease of cleaning.
