What kind of beardie?

So I got my beardie from petsmart and have no idea how old or what type he is. Can anyone help me out? He/she is about 8 1/2 in long and here is the pic.

He's beautiful whatever type! Fantastic colours. My nearly-6 month old is 13" tip to tail, so yours must be a fair bit younger.

Hi there.....he is very pretty He is a leatherback, that's all that can be deduced from that pic. If he has clear nails, with no little black line in them, then he's also a hypo. An 8-9" is generally 3-4 months old if bought from a pet store, but could be a bit younger OR older. He looks robust + healthy though.

I also got my 2 from PetSmart. I rarely see different colors in them. Some may be a little lighter than others but I thought that since it was coming from a pet store that they all would be from the same place with the same looks being pretty much bred from the same Bearded Dragons. So, this isn't true? I only thought that because they all looked the same to me, that typical more common brown color. I know the fish all come from the same manufacturer. And of course the more rare or fancier, etc. they are the more you pay. I was kind of thinking that would be the case with the bearded dragons too. I thought they would all have that typical more common brown that is spikier because they are more common they would be cheaper for pet smart to have them. But that would be awesome if this wasn't the case. It would be nice to hear that one of mine turns out to be a leatherback. He is too small for me to know and I really don't know how to tell these things when they are so young.
