I have read a few times now people saying they are bringing the dragons out of cool down for breeding now. What exactly is the cool down process?

The "cool down" is called brumation. It is a partial sleep where dragons slow down their metabolic rates for the winter. Generally people shorted the light cycle down to about 6 hours a day to allow their dragon to have a "winter" with short days and long nights. This process is done before the breeding season in the wild so people replicate it in captivity. Although, some dragons will brumate, no matter what the light cycle is while others will not brumate at all.

OK thanks, yeah I know all about brumation but I just didn't know when I read about cool down that they were talking the same thing.

Thanks....
