Update on our vet visit - the vet is concerned and said she was glad we came in. She also couldn't figure out exactly what happened, but it seems like Narley may have had some retained shed, and then in an effort to get it off, he shed TOO much on one side. So essentially, he's missing scales on one side of his tail and has retained shed on the other.
I have some medicine for him - more of a burn treatment with antibiotic properties, as she explained it. I'll wash and dress it every day for 14 days and in 10 days, we'll go back in for the vet to check it again.
I'll keep you all updated!

Poor Narley! Glad you were able to get him to the vet so fast. Does the vet think he could lose part of his tail?

I know! Poor guy has been to the vet so many times now! The vet's a bit concerned about his tail because some of the scales seem to be missing, but it'll be hard to say how bad the damage is until the retained shed comes off - and that's not ready to. It sounds like there's a really good chance that he'll be just fine as long as we can get the shed off and prevent infection. I hope he keeps his tail simply because I don't want him to have to experience any more pain!

On a more positive note, I was shocked to find out that my baby Narley is up to 400 grams!

I just measured him and wow - he's already up to 19.25 inches! He was only 12 inches when I got him in August! Pushkin is 20.25 inches, so Narley has almost caught up. Pushkin's head and body are double the width though - so Narley has a lot filling out to do. :)

Haha, no kidding. They are both little pigs!

Took a few cute photos of Pushkin in his usual spots. He spent some time by the window and then cozied down on the couch. He was so cute as he wiggled down!

Narly is adorable! How is his tail doing?

Thanks for asking! His scales came off completely. :( I've been letting him soak each day before applying the medication the vet gave me. It has kept his tail really well moisturized and it doesn't look infected or anything, but it's crooked now and it's down to his skin. :( He goes back to the vet on Monday, so we'll see what she says.

He is!! Which I love.
I just posted a photo - the lighting isn't great, but basically, the scales are gone. I'm hoping that doesn't mean he'll lose the tip, but I can't seem to find anything online about dragons with areas of their scales missing.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
