Can waxworms be a staple for baby beardie
I was thinking of feeding them to my beardie because he is a bit thinclaudiusx":xgpkxh07 said:Hi there,
I agree with karrie, their fat content is much too high. Think of them as beardie Hershey bars. They are suitable as treats

He is two months and 20 grams last time I weighed him I think his is a little bit thin because his fat pads are a tiny bit sunken.KarrieRee":1h9tuxu2 said:How old is he? What is his weight? Post a pic of him please

I might have gotten him a bit underweight when I first got him because 2-3 weeks ago he was 10-14 grams. Its always white when he poops he poops everyday and I feed him most of the time 3 times a day.KarrieRee":rsceedhq said:Is he dehydrated--- he is very young-- are you feeding him as many insects as he can eat in 10-15 minutes- you can feed him vegies first thing in morning w/ a few small super worms on top and some bfsl on top too- make sure he sees you put those on top of salad to get him to bowl-- let him eat that then around 30 minutes or so feed him his bugs-- are you feeding him 2 times per day? I am feeding my 10 week old this way he's gaining-- also I am misting him as well he's going thru a body and head shed now-- is he pooping and having white urate-?

No there just that end that is normally supposed to be white.KarrieRee":5pi4s2pc said:So it's all white or poop too-- ? It sounds like he's eating good-- and he is gaining so it sounds all good- you can add a few wax worms on his salad - variety is good -
