Make sure you clean it at least once a week and change water daily. It will probably pose more of a problem then help. They do like to sit in water and waterfalls are so cool looking but if he poops in it, its a big mess to clean. It will only turn out to be a bacteria fountain before to long. I would just place a clean bowl of water in his cage daily if your worried about him getting water.
I soak mine in the sink daily and do not leave standing water in the cage.
I do love waterfalls. I had them in my cham's cages.

I wouldn't suggest using your waterfall. Waterfalls tend to raise humidity and the high the humidity the more the risk of respitory infection. Also they tend to hold alot of bacteria even if you have a filtering one.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
