My 40g breeder just isn't going to cut it :? Plus I'm already looking into getting a 2nd BD :lol:
Looks like I'll be busy this month building 2x new vivs (4x2x2 seems popular)

Anyone have some good links on how to build those fake rock backings? I love that natural look.

miss b do you use heat cord? on a thermostat i assume... does it work well?

Yes... heat cord under one-third of each tub, connected to a thermostat. Works great. Gives a nice hot spot up the end of each tub and the babies love to sit there. Obviously a radiant heat source is preferable (heat globes) but with this rack system, heat cord is the more logical choice. Bubs are all perfectly happy and healthy and I haven't had a single nipped tail since I start using the hatchling rack.

It's quite labour intensive though, each tub gets disinfected every night and the paper towel replaced. This alone takes around one and a half hours.

Most of you have seen my enclosures, but here they are again!

5x3x2, 224 gallon divided...Older picture but not much as changed.

Luie's 4x2x2

3 tier condo for the Juvies/sub-adults, again old pictures... They have changed a bit

Quarantine enclosures, a 40 gallon breeder, and 20 gallon

And I have new baby enclosures that are equivalent to 15 gallons.
