I can't really tell if he is starting to get under weight a bit, but I do believe so.

Not underweight at all, looks perfectly fine. Legs + tail base are thick enough. Big belly beardies are not always the healthiest but we just get used to seeing them so to many people it seems normal.

But is he acting fine + eating normally ? have you weighed him or does he just look visibly thinner ?

He seems to be acting normal, he runs around the tank or sits on his log under the lamp. He hasn't been eating, why I don't know. I haven't had him weighed, but he does look thinner than normal to me.

He looks pretty healthy, but just in case whats his lighting and is that calci sand or just washed play sand? It could just be the colder weather making him not want to eat.

The basking bulb is a 100w zoomed and the uvb is a ReptiSun 10.0 fluorescent Mini 13 watt. The sand in the tank is calcuim sand.

If you want to use sand you should be using washed play sand... as calci sand can be very very dangerous. Im speaking from two very bad experiences i had using it, One was a baby beardie and the other was an adult beardie. Both got impacted because the "calcium" sand turns into a concrete like substance when wet so imagine what its like in a wet stomach. The baby beardie was on it for two minutes or so and died within a week while the adult lived for two years, when i got him he was pretty old and had bad care before but didnt die of old age and instead died of impaction even though hes an adult. The 100 bulb should be good but you'll want to change the uvb to a linear/tube light T5 HO 10.0 or one of the Arcadia tube lights. Other than the setup he does look very healthy, and once you get the correct lights and substrate he should be eating again. If not i'd get him checked out by a vet for impaction.

I will try to get washed play sand than tomorrow I'm And one of those bulbs you mentioned. Is there a recommended brand of sand or just any washed play sand for the tank?

If you could honestly just get paper towels, as i doubt you'll want an already uneating beardie on sand that could already be impacted because of the poor substrate. Theres not any brands i know of as i use tile and paper towels because sand for me gives me nightmares about my beardies dying of impaction and or growing sick from too much humidity, eye problems, bad joints and a variety of other horrid things. But i believe you could find some safe sand at walmart or home depot.

Don't USE any sand, paper towels , lino or loose laid tiles are much better.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
