Alrighty. :) This thread is for me to tell my beardie's story and post all about his adorableness. Even though I just registered today, I shall start at the beginning. This thread should have alot of pictures- so be warned- you may not be able to take the pure ferocious cuteness.

The Beginning!
We bought Toothless from Repticon in Raleigh on May 5th. He came from the same breeding company that our first came from (Carolina Designer Dragons) because we know she is an amzing breeder! He was about 8 weeks old when we got him.

His parents are Prada x Etro from FairyTail Dragons. (not sure how CDD got some of their babies XD)
This is his dad, Etro. He is a Hypo Leatherback X English Belgium Hypo 18" long, 423 grams and still growing!! and This is his momma, Prada. She is 354 grams, 18 1/2" long and 100% Marketed Leucistic.

Now on to my little cutie. This is him in the salebin. He's the one facing us. We knew right away he was the one.

This is him on the way home. He was so friendly and curious- not a single stress mark!

This is his very first experience in his Viv. :3 He seemed to like it (He loves it now)

He's growing! (June 12th or so)

But still tiny. He's a snuggler when he isn't zooming!

July 6th. :) It's been 2 months since I got him, and he has shot up in size! Went from 25g or so to 158g!

Today, I coddled him with loooooove. Here is a shot to show just how much he's grown.

School is going great! GPA is steady at 3.88, which is good. :)

Toothless is doing great! He is about 540 g, last time I remember. Still a bit spoiled, he's eating about 20 crickets every other day :)

And I bet he did miss me! No one cut his nails while I was away.

Congrats on your grade average, that's exceptional! And Toothless sounds as if he's doing fine, eating every other day, same as my boys. So are you home for the summer or is your school all year round?

It's been raining here in NC a lot, so poor toothless hasn't been able to go out for awhile. :( He's been basking and pooping and being cute as normal. His current diet is about 20 crickets every other day, with greens every morning.

I'll update pictures a bit later- once I remember how!!

Had his annual vet visit last week- he is fat and happy at 566g. :) The vet said he was in impressive condition, and I put in a good word for all the people who helped me on this lovely site.

Hope the rain has stopped and so glad he had a great vet visit. I'm impressed with him, too! I'm glad you're updating and hope school is going well for you. That's a good weight for him, too. You'll have to post some pics when you have a minute

Carolina Designer dragons is so nice to work with and the lady seems to really care about the babies! They give you info about the parents everything! Wishing you the best of luck with picking out your new little one!

I have returned! :) Sorry for leaving everyone in the dust, life just seems to get crazy!

Me: Still excelling in my Graphic Design major, just finished with an internship and excited to return to school this fall!

Toothless: My big brave boy is in full adult mode now at 2 years and 5 months! Asofar he hasn't shown an interest in brumating, but with winter coming up this year we are keeping watch. My brother is doing a pretty good job watching after him, I think he gets a tad lonely, but he still seems mostly content.

We have switched his staple to superworms, now that he is at least 2 years and 24 inches long. He has 2 bowls of turnip and mustard greens a day as well. He goes crazy for the superworms! I guess he must've been really bored of crickets!!

I checked him out for the first time in a while and he's got some definite femoral pores showing up now. Guess he's gone through puberty!

On the downside, while I was away he has gotten into the habit of pooping on the carpet... and ONLY the carpet haha.

His tail base is nice and thick and he is doing rather well. Here are a couple of pics I snapped recently. I will have to get more of his shenanigans. :)

Glad you're doing so well in class & that the internship went well, too.

Toothless looks great, your brother's doing a great job with him. He's definitely in full adult mode & of course he loves supers, what's not to love. Just make sure he doesn't get too many, they're 17% fat, so put on weight easily. At 24" he could use more weight anyway, and so glad he's eating so much salad! I use supers for 3 of my dragons, Puff won't eat anything else, Lonzo is 11 yrs old, so needs them to keep up his weight and Gabriel is my 3 1/2 yr old and he loves them. I scatter them on the living room floor and he runs to gobble them up. Didi and Leo are on dubia roaches, Didi because he won't eat on his own (he's my diva) and roaches are easier to feed and Leo because his liver & kidney fuction were out of whack from a blood test last Nov, switched him to dubia and the blood test in July showed him back to normal. And I lost my big boy Rubio on Easter Sunday, he had a brain tumour...I sure miss him alot!

It's hard to believe that Toothless is already 2 1/2 yrs old! Time sure goes fast. When are you done your degree?

So sorry to hear about Rubio! I remember reading all your stories about him.

We don't let him eat too too many- I think he has around 50 every couple weeks. Too much? Too little?

Time flew! I swore he was under 2 years still, but I did the math and bam!

I'm going into my junior year, so halfway done! I'll be done in 2016. :)

No 50 every 2 weeks with all his salads is perfect for him, no worries there.

I still miss my Rubio, haven't even done a memorial for him, I have 6 yrs of pictures to go through, so probably on the long weekend.

Bet you'll be glad when school is done! Glad you're doing so well!

Toothless is currently at home for the long term, as I am at college, but I hear he is as pudgy as ever and is doing well. :)

His length growing has seemed to slow down, I think he's reached adult size.

Just thought I'd update everyone and say that Toothless is as good as gold!

I'm glad to hear it, think of him alot as love his name. He's such a beautiful dragon! You'll have to take some pictures when you get home. Yes, they're at full growth at 2 yrs old, but sometimes they stop growing in length just before that. You'll have to measure him when on break again.

So nice to hear from you and have an update on Toothless, Beardiemommy! :D My Stryker just turned 3 on January 27th. He is doing well, but like Toothless, got bored of crickets. Stryker is definitely NOT toothless-he bit through my finger nail sometime last year. It was painful, but healed up nicely. They have jaws like sharks!

It’s been a month since I’ve joined bd.org! It feels like it’s been longer than that, but I’m glad I’m here and apart of this lovely community!
I can feel her staring into my soul demanding food
She was having a staring contest with a mealworm. I guess I never taught her to not play with her food, lol.
bro went to bed already, it’s 10:36 pm
Definitely going to be using this image if I ever catch a fence lizard again.
