Yes you can cut the nails but DO NOT cut the quick! That is the vain under the nail.If you do don't be scared they make a powder to stop the bleeding ( i forgot the name)! If you look at the nail into a light you will see where it starts. You just need to take the tip off. You can use baby clippers or regular nail clippers. you can also wrap your dragon up in a towel with one leg sticking out, it will help keep the stress levels down and make your job easier!!! I hope this helps... There is a link here somewhere with pictures on how to do it.

Hi there,
I just wrote back a wonderful ty note but ...lost in cyberspace. Anyway...ty for the reply. The name of the material to stop the bleeding is Silver Nitrate. Usually come in sticks or powder. Works great.

I am surprised their names got so long because they have a huge plank of slate to scamper on and tiles and gnarly wood. So it goes.

Thanks again,
JAZ

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
