It's like he's a beautician. He acts like super star boy in his new setup.

He's got these beautiful, pampered toenails/fingernails W/ one missing nail I thought it was strange but not too strange to stress.
Hypo Wero Red/Orange W Blue bars
I Dunno if I want to call him a white tiger with W/red and blue bars.

He seems pretty normal about it.
He seems to like the new setup.

I was wondering if. Do they respond to heat and cold in any way.?
Does the size of the enclosure bring out 'better behavior.?'

For example, Bringing out color?
Better behavior
& I also wanted to ask if the type of lighting affects behavior, appetite, & vibrancy.
I also wanted to know the relationship between the mind body and soul of these creatures.
Thanks

Hey there, to these questions you asked, the answer is yes :

Really.?

I get it brings out better behavior if they are in a bigger tank, But I didn't necessarily know that about coloring.
He really likes the setup.
I want his colors to pop.

I'm using a CHE at night.
I would have to do more research.

I'd almost rather him be happy than to 'force' him cold at night.
To possibly bring out coloring. :coffee::coffee:

I hear if you leave them cold, they get better coloring & vibrancy. I'm not 100% on that one.
It might stress them out a little bit.
Partly they do go through a brumation.

It's strange to be a Beardie owner.

Everything sounds right except leaving them cold, they should be around 68-78 at night. The only time they should be colder than 68 is for brumation but they don't need to be forced. They can deal with normal night temps. around 65 but having it a little warmer is better, especially for babies or sickly/weak dragons. So 68-78 at night is fine.

Okay.

What would happen if he was left at exactly 63 degrees only at night?
this is an exaggeration by the way. I would never.
Say; They were strong genetically and the house was clean.
No bad bugs.

Would it affect coloring/vibrancy.?
Alter its genetics.?

& I get the Brumation. 🧸
So, then my question would be what should I do during brumation.?
I use a CHE during brumation or let the room run cold for coloring/vibrancy.?

That's the last of my questionnaire.
Thanks. :)

Genetics is the #1 facctor in how colorful/vibrant they will be. The rest is good care, like proper lighting, temps., food and living conditions which it sounds like you have covered. :)
Cold brumation temps. have no effect on vibrant color.

Surgery, Blood transfusion, Internal bleeding (potentially) not confirmed, Sudden onset anemia, potential aneurism etc. Echo stayed in the hospital overnight and the dr did not have good news when she called to update me today. I’m not 100% sure that I made the right decision by coming to pick her up (against what the dr recommended) but she was in far worse condition since having dropped her off. Help! 2nd opinion!?
The basking side of my tank isn't getting up to the suggested 100degrees. Does that mean I need to get a new basking light?
does her poop look healthy?
In your perspective does my baby bearded dragon look healthy or unhealthy? Does she look bloated? she is active and eats very well also she is in her basking spot all day
