Hi! This is Arlo my 11 month old beardie. Within the last week he has had Discoloration and cracks on his fingers and tail. Before this he was shedding but never completed it successfully. Vets are all clogged up. What should I do?

His fingers look O.K but the tail looks like it has cuts or really deep cracks. I see that you're a new poster but wasn't this posted somewhere about a week ago ? While you're waiting on a vet appt. you can use a warm betadine/water mix to soak her in , 1 part betadine -10 parts water for about 10 min. a day. After the tail is dry apply some neosporin.

I posted this on another forum but didn’t really get any suggestions so I thought I’d try this one. The vets I’ve tried have said that they have limited exotic pet doctors and should only bring him in if it becomes extremely bad because they are so booked. Will try that, thank you so much.
I see the cracks by the fingers too. The tail is much thicker and should be able to deal with the cracks a bit better than the fingers. I would be worried about them getting too deep and causing permanent damage, maybe even the loss of the fingers if the cracks get too deep.
