Swollen legs?

My bearded dragon has swollen legs (front left & back right). I took him to the vet yesterday & they took an x-ray & said it’s just swollen soft tissue. Does anyone have any thoughts on what it might be?

I see the toe is swollen do you have a hammock in the tank? What kind of substrate are you using?

No hammock. Just newspaper.

Ok did the vet do any blood work to check for uric acid levels for gout? I am gonna have some others take a look

No, he only did the x-ray. I have a follow-up appt with him next Friday morning, so that’s why I wanted to ask on here. That way I’ll know what to ask the vet to do/look for at that appt.

Hello,

I am suspicious of gout or pre-gout syndrome at the very least. Is he having any mobility issues right now?
I know it is costly but it is the best way to get a diagnosis of gout if possible. The x-rays look pretty good & his
bone density is bright on most of the areas on the film.
Can you review the type/brand of UVB you are using & some on his supplementation & diet, too?

Can you show us more angles? The only parts I see swollen are the 2 toes and foot that look like they're about to shed. I don't see anything wrong with the legs but maybe I just can't tell with those pics.
