Started breeding superworms

I have some supperworms in empty pill containers and when I checked on them last nite two of the bottles I opened they smelled like Vinger. I was womdering why? Are they dead and just have not turned black?

Is their ventilation?

yeah you have to have a small hole in the top to let air in and out.

are the worms/pupae alive? without any air they may very well be dead and that would explain the smell.

I put holes in the bottles and there all fine. I have two pupi and I took them and to see if they moved and they did so I hope Im doing something rite.
