I bought a plastic basin from the dollar store. It's easier to clean than the bathtub! I put an inch or two of warm water in. After the soak, I use a towel to make a burrito for a while. :D

It should be fine not having dried her once (It can be difficult to completly dry them between the spikes and squirming) but I wouldn't get into a practice of it. They don't know you want them to stay under the basking light to dry out and might move out from it and get cold. I like to dry mine and them spend either some cuddle or exploring time so I know where they are and that they're warm enough until they're completely dry.

Mine actually love being wrapped up in their own bathtowels and massaged dry. When mine struggle, I just tell them to stop and the always do. You really need to make sure they are dry when you put them back in their homes so they don't get a RI.

RI stands for respiratory infection. Kind of like a cold in humans, but more serious. If they get an RI they need antibiotics and it can hang on for a loooong time.

The signs I have seen are excessive, stringy mucus/saliva in the mouth, and a clicking/popping sound when they breathe. You can hold your dragon's chest up to your ear to listen for this. You may also hear it while the dragon is sitting on your shoulder.

You can trim the tips of their nails with nail clippers. When you look at the nail, there is a very thin tip right at the end of the nail. Trim only the tip - any further and you risk hitting the quick.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
