Slate for my viv

Hey guys! I plan on using slate tile for my beardie's viv and I was wondering if anyone here could help me out with a supplies list or tips. Any kind of help is appreciated! Thanks!

I use ceramic tile its way easier to clean if you go with ceramic make sure To get a zoo meds wipe out 1 It disifects and deodorizes. Also make shure the tile isnt glossed and has a littel rough texture you can check out my channel on you tube i have a vid on tile. My channel is aztec dragonz.

I use a sand colored fossilized slate tile. Has fossilized plants all through it. Looks really nice. As for cleaning, i just take em out and lightly scrub em under hot water every couple weeks or so. I guess i'm lucky since Harley will only poop on her basking spot which is a smaller piece of slate separate from the floor so i can take that one out daily and wash it under hot water.

most people make their tiles removable but I made mine permanent. I siliconed mine in to make for easy cleaning because my tank has 2 18x18 floor tiles with slate ledger on top so for me to be able to tile the sides i had to seal and attach the floor tiles.
