Size?

Hi! What's the average size for around a 5 month old bearded dragon? Thanks!!

Every beardie is different,depending on their genetics,how their brought up etc.

Mine is going to be 5 months in about a week and 1/2,and he is 17 inches and 320grams as of last Thursday,though some would say he's a bit on the large side. I'm sure more people will comment with more info

at 5 months i beleive mine was around 15-16 inches. as mommisgurl said it all depends on a few different factors. I would think 15-17 inches would generally be a normal size for a 5 month beardy.

So I guess Ellie is smaller than the average beardie when I bought her the breeder gave me a birth certifict and told me that she was considered the "runt" in that litter.. Maybe why? She's around 10 inch now :/ how do I let her grow more? She have the perfect viv ( 40 gallon, reptisun 10.0 tube, tile floor. Ect) and she gets crickets everyday and I drop in little cubes of acorn squash cause that's her fav

As long as she is in the optimum setting like what you have,she'll only get to the size she's ment to. Getting fed twice a day,best temp at the basking spot,gets in the perfect range for the reptisun,gets the right amount of calcium and vitamins,eats her daily veggies etc will help,but like I said, if she is ment to stay small,she will And that's no biggie. The best things come in small packages :lol:
