Silver says .....I'm growing up and getting pudgy! All good, right? 11inches and 73 grams. Let's see some of those big beardie bellies!

A beautiful girl....how old is she and what does she weigh?

Not too surea about age...when we got her we were told she was 5 months old, she was just under 8 inches. Shes our first dragon and we didn't find this site til after we bought her, but once I posted pics on here I got told she looked more like 2-3 months old. Shes seen a vet a couple of times in the last few weeks however, who thinks she looks around a year old which would mean at 8 inches she actually was 5 months old :?
But we have been told by the vet that she is a very healthy dragon
She is just under 19 inches and over the last few weeks she hasnt been eating very well as she has had a swollen mouth, the vet thinks maybe something bit her and caused an infection. She got seen by the vet tonight and is looking sooooo much better but in that time she went from 460g to 430g. She has started eating today though so fingers crossed she keeps eating!

If the pet shop is right Silver is maybe 7 mnths old....but sounds like we've got several grams to go! Hope the mouth is better! Seeing them eat well is rewarding! do you give her super worms? I don't know for a fact but I've heard they can bite.

Aww, I think Lady was around that weight at that length, I posted on here cause I was worried she was too light bit I didn't need to worry cause she soon put it on!
Yeah I've been told that, and to be honest she is eating her locusts now but moves away if I offer her a super so I'm thinking that might be the culprit!

She got her name from a character from Star Wars that looks just like a female version of Yoda but with brown hair. I love Star Wars :mrgreen: Anywhere we go that we leave the house she always has it on. It lets me have a piece of mind knowing that she can't get too far if she gets scared and might try to run off. I got it from Repticon, great sale price. You can also find them at Petco and stores online. They are really great!
