My 8" Female often times run's to the 7.5" male and stays on top of him. Then does some ARM waving.
There is not biting, or anything, but I can see the Male doesn't like it and wiggles out.
Should I now separate them?

Many would say to never keep them together.. but, yeah I would suggest you go ahead and separate them. It would seem that they are getting agitated with each other..

Hello, I have the exact size guys myself. One female one male. The male run and sat on top of the female and waved too, nothing happened. Then one day I saw him charging the female and try to bite her head. I decided to separate them immediately just in case he gets to aggressive. From my experience and from what I have read in the forum, it is safer to separate them, just in case.

People born in the Year of the Dragon are healthy, energetic, excitable, short-tempered, and stubborn. They are also honest, sensitive, brave, and they inspire confidence and trust. Dragon people are the most eccentric of any in the eastern zodiac. They neither borrow money nor make flowery speeches, but they tend to be soft-hearted which sometimes gives others an advantage over them. They are compatible with Rats, Snakes, Monkeys, and Roosters.

yea, seperate them for sure!

After installing a digital thermo with probe, I noticed they tried eating the probe, well licking it to taste it as if it were food, after the female tried it, I notice it basically almost took a bite on the male :-(

I ran out of cricket so I fed them mealworms, and the I was in the hospital for 3 days coz my wife gave birth. So sad, I was really hoping for a cooperative single home for both of them. Too Bad.. So I placed the female in a separate tank for now.

Its a very selfless act and im sure they will lead happier healthier lives apart.

And congratulations on your new baby!

Thanks, the female will just have to settle for the small tank until I can afford to get an identical tank as that of his brothers anyway, they are still juvis :-D

Hi there,
Sorry to be so picky, but even being able to see eachother will stress them out.
Remember they are not like dogs or humans who bond with others of their species.
They are better off alone and isolated.
Id put up cardboard in between their tanks so they cant see eachother, or there will be no reall benefit of seperating them.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
