should my uvb (reptisun 10.0) go the whole length of viv?

I have a 40 gallon breeder tank..soo thats 36 inches long. should i get the 36 inches long reptisun so that it goes the whole length of the viv? thanks!

for a 36" tank, you would be better off with a 24" bulb. that will allow your dragon to be able to get out the uvb if needed.

If your planning on putting the 36in bulb under the screen it won't fit and if its on top the screen will block the uvb. The fixture will be 36 1/4in long.

There is no maximum. Usually whatever you can fit. 36" tank=24" light, 48" tank=36"light..

ok, good. I have a 52" coming and ordered a 48" fixture for it.
