I just got my first beardie, and my friend said " you know, they need to go to the vet's office". Is there any reason my beardie should see a vet on a regular basis ( like a dog or cat would)?

A fecal test every 6 months could be a good idea. you may need an appointment for the first test with some reliable reptile vet. Other than that, unless there is weight loss, or some other abnormal thing that may be described on this forum, most live healthy lives without a vet.

Just my opinion

I agree. I have not had Alvin to the vet, but my regular vet looked at his stool for me and just charged me a small amount.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
