Shedding

I probably sound crazy asking this but how can I help my beardie when he’s shedding. I know it’s natural but he looks so uncomfortable ;-; and being his mommy I feel bad that I can’t help. Any suggestions ? I already spray him with water.

Maybe give him some time around a rug or other somewhat rough surface so he can rub up against it and loosen the skin a bit himself. Don't pick at it yourself though. He'll be able to wiggle it free on his own eventually.

He has one of those carpets ;-; and a hammock isn’t that good ? He’s just laying down now
