My girl gets really grumpy and doesn't eat much starting about a day before she sheds. She's back to normal within a day after.

Mine don't really like being handled too much depending on the body part that is shedding. My little girl will not eat a whole lot for a few days before she sheds, and my boy just hates life while he is in shed.

shes good im giving her warm baths every day to help her shed, though she does look pretty pissed off! thanks for asking! Tommorow is actually her birthday, shes turning one, i am so excited!!!!!!!!!

I find shedding a love/hate situation lol. I love it because the colors always come out better after a nice shed, but i hate it because she gets so grumpy! I know for one that saphira does tend to look a little lethargic while her legs are shedding, and thats completely understandable.

Gizmo will get very pissy no matter what part she is shedding, but i suppose if your skin was all dired up and too small for you, you would be a bit tetchy too!

Thank you! Yea my coworker came with me when i got her, and she suggested the name. I was planning on getting a boy and had all boy names picked out, but saphira was the one that cought my eye, so since i didnt have any girls names, i went with my coworkers suggestion. it seems to fit her.
