Where did you get it from ? Do you have a link to the bulb on that site ? If not, just what company was it ?

He just threw up bits of the worm and looks more alert now so... I'm guessing it was the worm. He isn't shaking nearly as bad, its barely noticeable now x.x

Good thing he's able to throw it up. He may still do more, but after a while be sure to offer some water. If you have a feeding syringe you can give him water that way and add a bit of calcium powder to it. If you don't have one, you can get a feeding syringe at any drug store. He may not eat for a day or so [ usually ] but when he does, feed him small crickets , no longer than the space between his eyes and coat them with a pinch of calcium dust. If he doesn't eat for more than 2 days, try some stage 1 baby food, like chicken, green bean and squash [ no fruit ] You might also give him a warm, shallow 10 minute bath if he's not too weak or freaked out to be in the water right now.

I gave him another warm bath and he see!s to be resting. I dusted a small cricket with calcium powder and put it in there just in case.

Thanks y'all for helping me! I'll keep an eye on him for the rest of the day and night.

Hello,

Poor little guy, I agree, the superworms are the most likely culprit. Though, it still could be a touch of calcium issue too. Are you going to be giving him calcium daily now?
If the basking light doesn't say Powersun on it which is the Zoomed Mercury vapor bulb. It should be either a 100 watt or a 160 watt if it is the Powersun. As suggested the Reptisun 10 tube bulb or the Arcadia D3 12% tube bulb either one are great.

Let us know how he is doing.

Poor little guy. :( Yes, they will be very lethargic after vomiting. Be sure to keep offering water since vomiting is dehydrating. He may have no interest in food for a day or so but hopefully should perk up soon. Don't leave any loose crickets because they can nibble on his vulnerable areas [ like eyes/face] Just offer food once he seems more alert....in the mean time you can try stage 1 baby food [ chicken, green bean, squash ] with a feeding syringe that can be found at drug stores.

He seemed better but when I went to feed him he started spazzing like his spine was locking up or something. I tried feeding with a syringe but he won't open his mouth x.x

I'm sorry he's having such trouble. It may be touch + go, they can sometimes pull through this but if you'd feel better getting him to a qualified reptile vet they may be able to help. But usually with such a little guy only time will tell. How is he doing now ?

He's just laying around. I got a tiny mealworm, covered in calcium powder and put it in front of him but he just looked at it.

Hello,

How is he doing tonight?
I am sorry he is still not 100%, it can take time for them to get better.
I think that you should try to find a vet, if possible, for more help. If you can get the baby food to feed to him that can help also. Use a plastic dropper or syringe to drop the food on the end of his nose to see if he will eat any.
Have you given him a bath today?

One of my friends this a herpetologist came over and mixed calcium powder and water, opened his mouth and he drank some then actually ate a tiny piece of apple. I went to sleep after she left for a few hours and now he's all up like nothing ever happened! Every now and then he will twitch a not but it's barely even noticable now. I think he's going to be okay!

That's good news ! :) It sounds like he's turning around....it's good that you got some calcium in him. Instead of apple, though, try using tiny pieces of greens or squash. Apples can cause diharea. But it's great that you got some water + calcium in him. :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
