With a breeder tank I would use a screen, since they are short. You'd be surprised how high a beardie can jump. Our adult can jump out of the water in our bath tub and nearly get out. If there were an edge for him to hold on to, instead of the smooth tub, he could jump right out. I'm sure he could jump out of a breeder tank.

I like the idea of screens due to house flies! Little winged devils can carry Coccidia, which is extremely hard to eliminate :angry5: I'm on team screen! :D

Team screen for me. I've got a jumper and with a limb and a hammock in the tank he'd be out and gone in seconds. Plus the cat is always watching

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
