Scrambled eggs?

I was reading on a bearded dragon website and it said that they can eat scrambled eggs. Is there any truth to this?

On the beardie nutrition site egg is highlighted blue which means it can be fed rarely.

Really? All I saw was hard boiled eggs. :?:

Yes but I figured that scrambled egg is infact egg and if hardboiled egg should be fed rarely then why would scrambled egg be any different. The nutritional content in hard boiled egg and scrambled egg will be almost identical. :dontknow:

But wouldn't a scrambled egg be cooked in oils that a hard boiled egg wouldn't? :dontknow:

A bearded dragon's system is not made to handle that type of protein. What happens is, that instead of processing the protein like they do with insects, it get stored in the liver, causing major health problems and eventually fatty liver disease that could kill the beardie. If a beardie accidentally eats a little bit of egg one day, it's not going to kill him, but if it it continues to be fed, problems will occur.

Awesome, thanks. So no eggs for fluffy and dozer. I should have known something was up when reading, It said "beardies are social and like to be together" haha
